Overview

We are currently searching for a Data Program Manager to provide support to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This opportunity is a full-time position with MSC, and it is on-site in Rockville, MD.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop data models or projections based on studying past results, relationships, and anticipating future trends.
  • Analyze and investigate data information from various sources and in various formats.
  • Analyze data in order to draw conclusions and identify cause and effect relationships to support leadership.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations, communications, and reports of data collected and disseminates them to leadership telling the story of the progress and successes of the program
  • Meet with customers to understand their needs or concerns in order to ensure data, analytics, and reporting are used appropriately.
  • Consult with appropriate staff and conduct independent studies to develop cost savings model.
  • Organize data to assist leadership when responding to audits and/or data calls for NIH.
  • Seek additional resources when gaps and inconsistencies or variations in data are found.
  • Review Tableau metrics on a weekly basis and determine trends and provide solutions to the supervisor to ensure effective work distribution and sustained productivity.
  • Meet bi-weekly or as needed with supervisor to discuss and review gaps and inconsistencies or variations in data that are found in the various data sources.
  • Provide consultation as needed to leadership and supervisor on complex data trends and business intelligence formulation.


Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science or other elated field(s).
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience, working directly in program support, data management and/or analytics.
• Familiarity developing data models, determining future trends, and reviewing gaps.
• Experience providing consultation to leadership.
