Job Summary
The Senior Manager, IS Financial Management and Shared Service drives the strategic direction of several Daiichi Sankyo's technical shared service functions, including IS procurement, asset management, and most importantly budget management. The core objective of this position is to provide IT shared services to the organization while reducing costs through expense control and optimal utilization of IT assets.
Responsibilities
- Drive the leadership and vision for IS budget management through strategic forecasting and expense management for the entire IS Department. Forecasts and delivers the IS Latest Estimate (LE) to Finance monthly. Partners with IS Senior Leadership for monthly review of expense and capital spend through customized analysis of spend. Contributes to DSI's Finance sponsored initiatives by serving on the PMO for major projects, serving as a strategist for Business Planning processes and serving as the major business stakeholder for all processes involving capital budgeting and fixed asset management. Serves as the IS Point Person for Finance Management for Accounting, Capital Forecasting and Operational Expenses. Represent IS needs in Finance Dept. projects and strategy development.
- Creates and directs the vision for optimizing utilization of DSI's technology assets, including all client computers, servers, networking equipment and software licenses. Oversees the implementation and maintenance of an Enterprise Content Management system (ECM) for end to end Lifecycle Asset Management to reduce investment spend. Creates policies and procedures for all asset related activity, including asset tracking, disposal recycling, inventory and lost/stolen events.
- Develops and implements procurement strategies designed to reduce costs and improve service delivery. Partners with Finance Senior Management team as a key stakeholder in development of corporate wide procurement initiatives. Oversees the management of all procurement for IS operational and capital spend for DSAC and DSPD. Ensures compliance with all procurement related internal guidelines and external regulations (J-SOX). Ensures maintenance of thorough and complete purchase and inventory records to provide accurate accounting of all goods and services. Consolidates major purchases to secure best pricing. Negotiates lease rates and manages enterprise wide hardware lease portfolio. Maintains strong working knowledge of Procurement systems (E-Procurement and SAP functionality) and controls, workflows and efficiencies generated by these systems.
- Directs and leads the development of the companywide (DSAC, OBU, DSPD, UK, and India) IS training function to maximize business investment in IT applications.

Experience Qualifications
- 7 or More Years management experience preferred
- 7 or More Years financial experience preferred
- 4 or More Years Budget Management required
- 1 or More Years Procurement Management preferred
