Description of Role, Responsibilities and Requirements
The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day management of the laboratory. This will include the maintenance of scientific and safety equipment, ordering and stocking of supplies, buffer/reagent preparation, shipping/receiving, and glass wash/autoclave. H/she will interact closely with the Research team and will coordinate with the Office Manager to support purchasing and manage vendor accounts. H/she will be expected to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field, as well as 5+ years of laboratory experience is required. Prior industry experience is a strong plus.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills, the ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail are critical for maintaining an efficient working lab environment.
- Effective negotiation and vendor relationship skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are a must. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team is necessary.
