Solutions Architect, Quality Systems

The solution architect will be responsible for delivering global innovative solutions to challenging customer problems. They will engage with IT cross functional customers to capture business requirements and transform these through analysis and design into technical solutions.  They will provide technical advice, support and strategy to IT customers to deliver continued growth within the Quality Systems team.

The Role

  • Implement security, maintenance and support of Catalent quality enterprise systems in accordance to company policy and regulatory compliance
  • Regularly manages and applies all roles of implementation in aspects of enterprise system’s lifecycle management
  • Act as contact point and provide training to personnel on one or more enterprise systems
  • Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, standard operating procedures and administrative policies required to develop or modify enterprise systems
  • Efficient at managing compliant change protocols and applying critical updates as necessary using proper documentation practices used in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Analyze and resolve end user software problems in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Provide oversite for system backups, and business continuity strategies for assigned enterprise systems 
  • Create reports for end users to trend and analyze system data Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices

The Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree is required. A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a Life Science related degree is preferred. 
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on application knowledge (as a user or otherwise) with QMS, LMS, or EDMS applications.
  • Experience with a full-scale implementation of a of Quality applications including all phases (blueprinting, gap analysis, system design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support).
  • Skilled in writing functional / technical specifications with detail explanation of completed design.
