Vendor Maintenance Specialist - Temporary Contractor

The Vendor Maintenance Specialist will support the planning and execution of Vendor Maintenance continuous operations utilizing the Supplier Approval Process and Portal technology. You will manage the integrity of the vendor master data system of record for all suppliers across all Regeneron entities. Also responsible for processing existing and new supplier approval workflow and updating/maintaining vendor master data daily in order to mitigate external fraud. We need someone who can effectively partner with A/P, Treasury, Tax, and internal clients to ensure compliance to all required rules, regulations, and policy.

A typical day might include the following:

• Works directly with A/P, Sourcing, vendors and end users to collect required documents and approvals. A few examples: Vendor Maintenance forms, W8 & W9 forms, vendor contact information, Foreign Vendor tax forms, and vendor change notices resulting from legal entity merges, etc. You may also perform system of record (Oracle, Zycus, etc.) entry. This may include; new vendor set up, changes to existing vendor information, and vendor document management.
• In addition to performing annual vendor database cleanup, utilize knowledge of legal compliance rules/regulations, IRS and government website for 1099/TIN matching to protect Regeneron.
• Ensure vendors and sites are accurately set up for specific tax liability, enter and maintain banking information and work with Compliance to assign unique identifier numbers to HCP related vendors. We work with A/P to help evaluate vendor payment methods.
• In addition, you will document storage and retention of all forms, certificates, correspondence, etc. Conduct special projects related to vendor maintenance as assigned.
• Uses social skills to exchange information and call out procurement-related issues. We work as a team and need someone who takes direction from others but also works well independently and anticipates the needs of procurement staff to provide detailed support. Reviewing data and crafting/maintaining regular reports per leadership request is crucial.

In order to be considered, you must have a bachelors degree and 3 years of experience (or a masters and 1 year). You will perform job duties under minimum supervision. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and problem solving skills is needed for this role. Connect with internal and external clients on a consistent basis. We require someone who has strong Microsoft suite experience, and ideally understands Oracle and Zycus.
