As a Director you will formulate Oncology HEOR strategies, plans and studies and ensure implementation, focusing on our hematological cancer portfolio. We develop and execute global and regional HEOR strategies and programs for our oncologic products, to inform and support clinical development, regulatory, marketing, and market access activities.

A typical day may include:
  • Collaborating with business partners to develop and support compelling product value propositions to optimize patient access to Regeneron therapies.
  • Identifying HEOR evidence requirements and gaps, and design, conduct, and deliver studies and tools to support relative value demonstration and product differentiation.
  • Conducting epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology analyses and studies (e.g. prevalence and incidence of disease, natural history of disease, prescribing and treatment patterns, comparative effectiveness).
  • Developing and implementing Clinical Outcomes Assessment (COA) measurement strategies and plans in support of product labeling, patient access and product differentiation.
  • Evaluating relevant health technology assessment (HTA) decisions and apply key findings to pipeline and marketed products. Develop submissions to various HTA agencies to secure reimbursement.
  • Leading, building and executing research partnerships with key global and US national and regional health care industry organizations. These include managed care, PBMs, pharmacy, IDNs, medical groups, and health care policy think-tanks/opinion leaders.
  • Identifying and maintain successful research relationships with HEOR key opinion leaders and thought leaders.
  • Reporting, publishing and disseminating HEOR data and study results in compliance with company, industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Delivering HEOR presentations to customers to support reimbursement decisions across the portfolio.
  • Collaborating with Alliance partners on HEOR plans, studies and deliverables; build and maintain constructive and positive relationships across Alliance.

To be considered, an advanced graduate degree (Ph.D., MS, or MD, PharmD., B. Pharm with Master's degree) in HEOR-related field (e.g. pharmacoepidemiology, epidemiology, healthcare/data analytics, health economics, health services research, public health) is required; You are required to have 7+ years with PhD or 9+ years with MS in HEOR. HEOR consulting experience is a plus;

The below oncology experience is required:
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory (e.g. FDA) and HTA considerations in the evaluation of patient-reported outcomes in oncology clinical trials;
  • Experience in design and implementation of patient-reported data in oncology clinical trials, including experience in analysis and reporting of data;
  • Strong publication track record in HEOR/COA area with focus in oncology;
  • Strong technical expertise required in design and conduct of HEOR studies and models in support of oncology
