As a Director, Real-World Evidence, you will take a leading role in supporting Regeneron's oncology real-world data & analytics needs. We generate real-world evidence to advise, support, and strengthen global development and commercialization activities. You will translate and execute internal real-world evidence generation requests using their subject matter expertise in epidemiology/biostatistics, real-world data, and advanced modeling techniques using internal and/or external real-world data and analytics resources.

A typical day may include the following:
  • Serving as subject matter expert in the real-world data sources and the associated analytics in supporting RWE generation activities.
  • Collaborating with HEOR therapeutic area/product leads epidemiologists developing real-world evidence analysis plans. We analyze in-house real-world data, coordinating real-world data analyses conducted by external partners, and effectively communicating analytics results to internal partners.
  • Leading standardization of data structure and analytics of our in-house real-world data. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and standards through engagement with groups leading such initiatives in the research community (e.g. Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership, etc.)
  • Evaluating and in-licensing real-world data assets and/or analytical tools
  • Managing conversion of real-world raw data to common data structure and maintenance of coding library/analytics templates to support real-world studies across Regeneron products.

  • Have the innate ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives, prioritize them and execute them independently

To be considered for this you are required to have a Doctoral or Master's degree in health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a subject area with a strong focus in the application of data science to healthcare data. Your experience will include a minimum of 5 years' experience in pharma/biotech, consulting, or academic settings in Outcomes Research/Epidemiological Research/Health Economics.

Rich experience using real-world data (US and ex-US) commonly used in epidemiology/HEOR studies (e.g. administrative claims, disease/exposure registries, EMRs). Familiarity with oncology RWD is a plus.
Proficiency in statistical-, computational- and machine-learning methodologies for prospective and retrospective RW studies Knowledge of visualization software (Tableau, R, Python). Advanced programming capacity in any two of the following software packages: Python/SAS/R
