Associate Director, Neuroscience, Global Marketing

This position supports the development and execution of the marketing strategies and tactics relative to HCP promotion at the Global, Areas, and Country-Affiliate level.  Collaborates and engages with a cross functional team, which includes (but not limited to): market access, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, health economics, public affairs, medical and regulatory review, patient relations, business insights, OEC, and global learning. Role will be Manager- or Associate Director-level based on experience of candidate.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Generating marketing insights that inform strategic and tactical plans
  • Identify commercial opportunities that advance efforts towards the brand objectives and goals
  • Creating and driving multi-stakeholder initiatives within the overall brand strategy, as well as leading communication strategy
  • Developing marketing tools/resources to optimize impact and advancing them efficiently through the formal approval process
  • Lead marketing activities like segmentation/targeting/positioning, promotional materials/tactics, advertising, promotion, within assigned budget
  • Support affiliates in the context of HCP promotion through innovative and impactful strategies & tactics
  • Managing budgets and maximizing resources
  • Project management & working with vendors and other agencies to lead creative and communication strategy
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director(s) and business leaders to build, manage and execute marketing plans to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Contribute within area of responsibility to business and marketing plans process
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and build external partnerships
  • Influence business leaders and effectively collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business results

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical marketing
  • Competency of the current medical and regulatory approval process
  • Proven track record of effectively working in cross-functional teams and matrix environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Able and willing to extensively travel internationally

 

Preferred Experience (in addition to Basic):

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Global and Affiliate/Country experience
  • Sales, Market Access, or other relevant experience that complements the marketing role
