The Commercial Insights Otezla Marketing Analysis Manager is responsible for delivering secondary data analytics and insights to support Otezla brand planning, reporting and ad-hoc analysis of business performance across the range of Otezla indications.

The individual will synthesize data from multiple sources and include complex data analyses into an integrated picture to drive Otezla brand performance. He or she is a passionate champion of insights-driven strategy and objective evidence-based decision making.

This position will report to the NuBu Commercial Insights Director within Commercial Data and Analytics (CD&A) group but will work day-to-day ("dotted line") with those that lead the cross brand initiatives.
Job Responsibilities include:
  • Partner with Coverage & Pricing (C&P) Marketing leadership, Brand Marketing, Data Science and Pricing/Contracting teams to build and prioritize analytics and insights plan in support of Payer coverage marketing strategy
  • Provide marketing leadership with an objective and thorough perspective on campaign analytics and performance management
  • Work cross functionally with marketing, digital leads, the broader Commercial Insights team, and other partners to develop and communicate assumptions based on campaign analysis and partner input
  • Produce and deliver regular performance dashboards based on complex data sources, including prescriber or account-level demand data, claims data, electronic medical records, etc.
  • Interpret, summarize, and communicate analyses to drive campaign understanding and recommendations for tactical performance tracking tools, and ad-hoc requests
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable effective execution of analytics
  • Improve the campaign analytics capabilities of the Commercial Insights team by researching and implementing new analytical tools, methodologies, internal and external best practices, new data sources, etc.

Basic Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree & 2 years of forecasting, analytics, sales &/or marketing operations experience
Or
  • Master's degree & 4 years of forecasting, analytics, sales &/or marketing operations experience
Or
  • Bachelor's degree & 6 years of analytics, sales &/or marketing operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of marketing analytics in the pharmaceutical industry
  • 0-3 years of experience as a full stack software engineer shipping successful commercial products and/or services to customers using a SDLC process from start to finish
  • Create solution design, data layer requirements, and tagging specifications to implement analytics.
  • Experience with SQL, R, Python, digital or web analytics (Omniture, WebTrends, Google Analytics, AdWords, AdCenter, DoubleClick, MediaMath, Exact Target, etc.) is required
  • Experience with digital marketing channels (Paid Search or SEM, Organic Search or SEO, Paid Social, Earned Social, Display, Email) is required
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment
  • Proven analytical skills-understands the strengths and limitations of different analytical approaches and their findings
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts and sensitive findings clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior and executive management
  • Skill in handling multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of commonly used biopharmaceutical industry datasets and databases
