Administrative Assistant (Office \u0026 Laboratory)

Position Summary: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to be a key part of our team. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:

• Shipping and receiving packages
• Adding chemicals and proteins to the electronic inventory
• Interacting with external vendors to schedule recurring deliveries or pickups
• Monitoring and restocking of PPE for scientist as well as commonly used lab supplies
• Letting in visitors
• Working with lab scientist to schedule demos and arrange covid testing for outside suppliers
• Building and maintaining an inventory of computers and supplies for new hires
• Offer onsite support to the virtual lab manager
• Coordinating lunch order
• Other tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Desire to be a team player in a cross-functional environment
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree is preferred though not required
