We seek an experienced individual to lead production operations planning and implementation for Inflammatix product lines. The Director of Operations will be responsible for establishing logistics between contract manufacturers, Inflammatix and customers, managing suppliers, setting production schedules, managing inventory, and setting up purchasing processes. The role is vital for Inflammatix to scale effectively and bring our important tests to patients who need them. The position is perfect for an individual seeking to build up operations from the ground floor for a company poised to rapidly scale and have worldwide presence.

  • Establish logistics to transport products from contract manufacturers to customers in the US and EU
  • Manage inventory throughout the supply chain in coordination with commercial and finance teams
  • Contract and manage suppliers, either directly or in coordination with contract manufacturers
  • Collaborate with quality, clinical lab and development teams to establish and execute processes to release test kit and instrument lots for commercial use
  • Engage with finance and other functions to incorporate processes into an ERP system
  • Establish and continually improve procedures and processes in a regulatory compliant manner
  • Set, track and communicate (to senior management and other stakeholders) metrics for success
  • Hire, train and manage operations team

  • BA/BS degree. Advanced relevant degree a plus but not required
  • 7+ years-experience in relevant role
  • Demonstrated success in establishing operations for a novel medical technology with 510k cleared and CE marked products
  • Significant experienced managing vendors, including those that are located outside the United States

  • Skillful leader able to grow and manage high functioning operations team
  • Fluency with ERP systems and other relevant software
  • Experience managing and collaborating with vendors and suppliers
  • Ability and willingness to both "roll up sleeves" and think strategically
  • Capable of effectively working cross-functionally with regulatory, quality, program management, commercial, legal and finance teams
  • Well organized and detailed oriented
  • High ethical standards and personal integrity

  • Classification: Full-time. Based at Inflammatix headquarters in Burlingame, California
