ABOUT THE POSITION:

This role includes both administrative and strategic responsibilities including but not limited to cross functional support within the Human Resources team, shaping and supporting the employee experience with a focus on pre-boarding and onboarding, employee life cycle, data entry and employee file management. This role will support change management initiatives, employee success initiatives and project management support across multiple HR projects.

This position will manage and fully understand leave of absences and support compliance requirements such as EEOC reporting, policy interpretation and procedures, and have a good foundational knowledge of employment laws.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY DELIVERABLES:

Project Management Support: Drive key components of various HR projects through appropriate organization, planning, and follow through; collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery and implementation.

Policy Support: Partner with HRBPs and HR team to modify, create or partner on HR policies, policy creation and procedures to ensure compliance and/or support process changes. Look for areas of improvement and be comfortable executing those improvements.

Onboarding/Offboarding: Facilitate and guide new hires through the pre-boarding processes, which includes, but is not limited to, conducting pre-employment screenings and reference checks as well as serving as the primary point of contact. Create onboarding plans for new hires. Ensure accurate and timely employee data entry and information.

Event Planning: Plan, organize and manage employee events particularly new hire and employee support events and virtual events. Facilitate and enhance in-house programs such as Welcome Day and Culture sessions.

Talent Acquisition: Liaise with both internal partners and external candidates throughout the recruiting life cycle as needed.

Culture: Understand, encourage and promote company culture and values and the development of a positive, and productive work environment. Support People Success initiatives and project work such as Performance Management, employee health and wellness initiatives and support in driving all DEI activities.

Data Entry: Responsible for managing and executing employee files and HR-related files, records. Ability to run reports and pull and decipher analytic data.

Human Resources Broad Support: Provide administrative and strategic support across HR functions as needed and general HR support:
  • Organize, maintain, and track personnel-related data and records ensuring employment and compliance requirements are met.
  • Assist with and partner on HR compliance initiatives.
  • Provide advice to employees regarding policies, programs, and answer general HR questions.
  • Create and prepare clear company-wide communication announcements and updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Core competencies, education, and experience.
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, or related field.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years working experience in Human Resources as a Generalist or Specialist.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resource Laws and Regulations.
  • Ability to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to take initiatives and ownership of projects.
  • Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills.
  • Good understanding of employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Excel in data analytics and reporting. Ability to apply standard software applications to data issues, analysis and output of relevant reporting.
  • Prefer experience with start-up or global experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
