The Project Manager will provide key support for the Global Oncology Marketing organization. The individual will work closely with the Director, Global Oncology Franchise Operations on franchise level initiatives and the Global Brand Lead for Navitoclax (MF indication) and Venetoclax (MM indication). This will include supporting the Global Brand Teams (GBT) to plan meetings, coordinate agendas, prepare minutes, and communicate with team members. Also, the individual will lead the organization and planning of brand and franchise events. The project manager will forge relationships with cross-functional GBT members to support achievement of critical milestones by tracking key projects and initiatives and coordinate team responses to critical issues. This will require working closely with all internal groups and external third-party service providers to deliver excellence.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Project management support for Franchise Operations and the Navitoclax (MF indication) and Venetoclax (MM indication) GBT.
  • Maintains close collaboration with directors to assist in planning and executing projects, including gaining consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables.
  • Plans and completes cross-functional and cross-affiliate communications, meetings and events.
  • Manages annual calendar for GBT and synchronizes efforts with critical events in the annual Global Brand cycle (e.g. LRP, Brand Planning, Brand Meetings, etc.).
  • Monitors GBT performance with Leaders and provides regular reports on agreed brand milestones/KPIs.
  • Communicates action due dates and tracks/monitors progress and performance.
  • Maintains sharepoint sites and updates with new content.
  • Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all cross-functional team members.
  • Develop a thorough understanding and knowledge in the science of the diseases, the business, and the challenges.
  • Expedite, manage and coordinate a multitude of interrelated project activities within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Assess the degree to which change causes issues and risks and how those changes affect projects.
  • Assist with tracking and managing the financial budgets for the GBT.
  • Is highly organized, meets project deadlines and proactively delivers on business objectives.
  • Exhibits a culture of integrity, excellence, initiative and compliance.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable AbbVie Policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Basic:
  • Exemplary communication skills.
  • Proven track record of effective project leadership and positive results.
  • Successful pharmaceutical brand or marketing related experience.
  • Strong information and analytical skills.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit; acts as an "innovation practitioner".
  • Project management and financial acumen.
  • Product launch experience highly preferred.
  • 5 years of Project/Program management experience.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sciences or a Commercial related field.
  • Industry experience preferable.

Preferred:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
