The Business Resilience Associate Director will work collaboratively across multiple teams to identify and assess vulnerabilities throughout the entire organization. This position will lead the Business Resilience Program and increase operational resilience by improving our ability to withstand crisis. This will preserve processes and procedures in the face of unexpected disasters to avoid financial, operational and reputational impact and protect Regeneron's brand, equity, resources, and staff. The successful candidate will develop a strategy for program execution by applying an outstanding degree of resourcefulness, creativity, and innovation.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:
  • Driving the implementation and success of the global continuity program by assessing business impacts, continuity risks, and development plans
  • Chairing the Business Resilience Steering Committee
  • Evaluating and implementing new business policies / procedures through analysis of business risks
  • Collaborating with a team of cross-functional partners in an effort to optimize and coordinate responses to business risks
  • Crafting and maintaining key partnerships across the organization's support areas to ensure continuity planning and incident response
  • Planning & facilitating crisis simulation exercises and initiatives
  • Presenting updates and priorities to the EHS Department & Real Estate / Facilities Leadership Teams
  • Fostering partnerships with emergency responders in the surrounding communities

  • You have proven experience leading a world-class Business Continuity & Resilience programs in a global, matrixed organization.

  • You have a strategic mindset, rooted in data & root-cause analysis.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to adapt to different audiences and influence across all levels of an organization.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess proven experience developing and leading a successful business resilience / continuity program with at least 10 years of progressive business, risk or continuity management experience. Experience within a laboratory environment, or within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry is preferred. You have background which includes leading highly capable and flexible teams that can provide emergency response and adapt to the needs and goals of an expanding business.
