As a Biosample Operations Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our biospecimens are of the highest quality and are utilized with corporate integrity and rigor. You are a collaborative team player and demonstrate a strong track record of success in a cross-functional team environment assisting development of complex workflows and processes to meet business goals.

The Biosample Operations Data Analyst will be responsible for facilitating GRAIL's use of biosample data for reporting, analytics and visualization. The BOA will also have opportunities to use data-driven approaches to discover insights in data of high complexity and volume. This will be a role that reports into both Biosample Operations and Clinical Data Science with opportunities for advancement in both functions.

You Will:

• Report on the life-cycle workflow(s) of clinical samples through collection, shipping, processing, storage and subsequent delivery to GRAIL for processing and analysis.
• Contribute to user requirement development for data visualization and systems integration.
• Contribute to the development of interactive data visualization and analytic tools for reporting, biosample reconciliation, biosample selection, and data QC in support of R&D and Lab Operations.
• Apply quantitative and analytical approaches to problem solving.
• Present findings at cross-functional team meetings.

Your Background Should Include:

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field; Additional coursework in programming/data science/programming strongly desired.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration while ensuring data quality and commitment to analysis reproducibility.
• 1+ year experience in a programming language like R, Python, SQL, or similar
• Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
• Excellent team player with a demonstrated track record of success in a cross-functional team environment. Consistent commitment to delivering on team goals with a sense of shared urgency.
