Job Details
This position is responsible for designing and building secure, scalable solutions on the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform working with Platform & Product Owners, Technologists and Business and IS stakeholders, and driving the evolution of our Contracting Agility and Partner Engagement Product. The role will focus on developing applications on the Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud and Mulesoft platforms. You will stay abreast of current Salesforce capabilities and roadmaps, adopt standard software development, engineering and release processes, and utilize Agile and Dev/Ops best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Software application Dev/Ops on Amgen's Salesforce.com platform using Apex, Visual Force, and Lightning Web Components for the Contracting Agility and Partner Engagement Product
- Develop and maintain customizations for solution delivery utilizing Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, Community Cloud for integration with Mulesoft, DocuSign and Conga platforms
- Configure the Salesforce.com application and model custom objects based on the business requirements
- Develop custom applications using APEX, JavaScript, Visual Force, AJAX, HTML, CSS
- Understand Salesforce security and apply the Organization Wide Default, sharing patterns, profiles or permissions to your applications
- Communicate software and system designs using UML, lucid chart or other modeling tools and software. Collaborate with team members to apply abstractions and service-orientation to foster scalability
- Develop Test classes and automation to validate business logic and avoid production issues
- Work closely with members of the Product and Platform team, and cross-functionally with business and other IS partners
- Apply best practices and experience to build Salesforce.com applications
- Research Salesforce.com capabilities as needed to suit business requirements, and provide gap analysis
- Develop estimates for projects
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree
Or
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience
Or
Associate's degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Information Systems experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and customizing Salesforce.com application via web services, Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Visual Force, Data Loader, Reports and Dashboards
- Experience in developing Salesforce dashboards leveraging SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST based web services, SQL, XML and JavaScript
- Experience with building and maintaining Custom Objects, and integrating Salesforce with external systems (e.g. Conga, DocuSign, and Mulesoft)
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Amazon Connect
- Ability to work in a changing environment, under pressure, handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to ramp up on new technologies quickly
- Working experience with Agile, scrum and lean principles preferred
- Superb communication and presentation skills
- Application design and development experience
- Salesforce CPQ Certification a plus, but not required!
