The Speaker Program Manager is responsible for shared pull-through of strategic goals as established by team leadership, overseeing execution of Speaker Program operations across all therapeutic areas to successfully drive high-quality programs while ensuring adherence to company compliance policies and establishing strong governance for AbbVie's US Speaker Program management. Internally fosters positive working relationships in a team-based environment to manage and improve Speaker Program innovation and associated technology. Excellent project management capabilities, strong communications skills, robust analytical and conceptual abilities are critical. Self-starter initiative, ability to prioritize while multi-tasking, and team-focused mindset are fundamental to success in this role.

Description

Key Responsibilities
- Expert knowledge and understanding of Speaker Programs strategy, operations, and technology
- Contribute to Speaker Programs technology solution creation and management, assisting with various workstreams in design, development, training, and change management initiatives
- Support management of relationships with logistics and technology suppliers, including primary ownership of travel supplier and virtual meeting supplier
- Identify and implement unmet needs and process improvements
- Manage ongoing team project timelines, content, and deployment
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams, including Business Technology Solutions, Compliance, Marketing, etc., as well as external vendors to ensure integration and consistency
- Understanding of other functional areas and impact of relevant decisions
- Consistently manage multiple priorities to deliver high-quality results in a timely fashion
- Develop and execute high-impact communications and training as needed for new initiatives
- Provide in-depth insights through ad hoc analysis as requested
- Manage team of contractors aligned with legacy Allergan business operations and in support of Speaker Program data analytics, including alignment of contributions to overarching team goals and department vision & values, and assistance with professional development

- 5+ years in relevant field
- Working knowledge of system software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative manner
- Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
Preferred
- Master's Degree / MBA
- 5+ years' healthcare industry experience
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g., Physician Payments Sunshine Act, PhRMA Code)
