Join a growing and dynamic marketing team in one of AbbVie's newest businesses! As Product Manager, Anti-Infectives Marketing you will work across three antibiotics brands (Avycaz, Dalvance and Teflaro), with responsibility for cross-franchise activities such as promo med ed, medical conference initiatives, and field force engagement. This position reports to the Associate VP, Anti-Infectives Marketing.

You are:
  • A strong collaborator who would enjoy working cross-functionally with colleagues in Marketing, Training, Sales, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance
  • Adept at utilizing customer and marketplace insights to identify, develop and execute business initiatives
  • A strategic thinker and brand developer who can put ideas into action

You will:
  • Be responsible for managing promotional medical education, medical conferences and other cross-portfolio activities that cut across all three anti-infectives brands
  • Serve as the marketing team lead for Field Force Engagement, collaborate closely with Sales and Sales Training on training and communications initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic and tactical planning for the three anti-infectives brands
  • Work towards other initiatives. Vendor and Agency Management for Professional Projects.
  • Demonstrate fiscal Responsibility. Manage budget to optimize spend against highest ROI tactics

Qualifications

You bring:
  • At least 3 years progressive experience in pharmaceutical brand management, sales, or sales training
  • Experience in antibiotics / hospital market preferred
  • Outstanding planning and organizational skills with exceptionally high attention to quality of detail and proven track record of results and follow-up
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace including medical, regulatory and clinical processes
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred
