The SMG is responsible for the accurate handling, receipt, and storage of clinical, nonclinical and research study samples and sample data reconciliation. We are looking for a Temporary Sample Management Coordinator to perform activities in his/her assigned area and can coordinate and execute these activities under direct supervision.

In this role, a typical day may include:
• Performs the accessioning and receipt of non-clinical/clinical samples by assessing and verifying data, both manually and utilizing Microsoft VBA tools.
• Fulfills clinical and/or non-clinical sample requests to support bioanalysis results as well as company-wide research initiatives.
• Works closely with Quality Control (QC) to address findings and ensure data is captured appropriately in LIMS
• Responsible for the operation of automated sample storage systems, facilitating the import and export of samples utilizing the system user interface and integration with LIMS.
• Responsible for liquid handling systems to facilitate the sub-aliquoting of samples to support bioanalytical results and research needs.
• Executes basic LIMS functions to support sample management activities, including study creation based on protocols and supporting documents.
• Collaborates with internal and/or external partners to facilitate data discrepancy resolution with mentorship from lab management.
• Ensures compliance and accurate documentation in accordance with working instructions, SOPs, and applicable regulations.

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelors degree in a relevant science field. We need someone with who is computer proficient, including spreadsheets and database experience. The ability to master new software programs is required. LIMS experience is a plus. Prior experience handling clinical study samples or a background in biological science is preferred.
