Associate Director, Strategy & Analytics


We are Allergan Data Labs, a team of 100+ digital and consumer marketing gurus, data scientists, and engineers, on a mission to help realize the potential of the aesthetics market through data and technology. We create world-class digital products to inspire our 150M target consumers globally to use our life-changing brands.

Allergan Data Labs is part of Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company, the fourth largest pharmaceutical company in the world. Our brands are iconic household names such as Botox Cosmetic, Juvéderm and CoolSculpting. Our team is bi-coastal and operates out of Irvine, CA and New York, NY.


We're looking for an Associate Director, Strategy & Analytics to play a critical role in driving key strategic projects and to help scale our marketing analytics capabilities, particularly as we expand Data Labs' scope to new markets. The role is highly cross-functional and requires collaboration across a range of teams, both US and international. The ideal candidate will be interested in working in a high energy, data-driven, and collaborative environment. You have a passion for business strategy and you enjoy wearing many hats. You are a people-person, a connector, and a problem solver.


• Design, structure and lead critical strategic projects including annual growth strategy plans, resource and budget development exercises, and marketing innovation opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance our analytic capabilities in ex-US markets and play a leading role in developing measurement methodologies for our international marketing activities.
• Partner across teams within Data Labs to clearly articulate our business strategies for presentation in executive decision making forums. Conduct rigorous and accurate analysis in support of strategy development.
• Manage special projects on a day-to-day basis, tracking progress and partnering with internal colleagues and agencies to ensure they are meeting their deliverables.


  • A self-starting approach to work, with the ability to independently prioritize work, identify solutions, and drive next steps
  • A strong business acumen - an ability to understand the real 'question behind the question,' and the judgement to shape the analytical path forward
  • High degree of comfort preparing clear, polished presentations for executive audiences
  • Strong communication skills and a high degree of comfort going toe-to-toe with executives to influence decision-making based on data and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify creative solutions to quantitative problems where limited data is available
  • 2 - 3 years post-MBA level experience from a top-tier management consulting firm
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
