Project Manager

SUMMARY OF ROLE

Inflammatix is seeking a Project Manager to manage all aspects of new product development projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced start up environment and will work with high performance cross-functional teams to establish and execute project plans from concept to commercialization. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Program Management and Design Assurance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creating project plans and schedules, including setting targets for milestones and allocating resources
• Delegating tasks to team members on the project and monitoring progress to completion
• Identifying and managing project risks
• Assisting in the definition and control of project scope
• Facilitating team meetings and driving team decisions
• Communicating with the project executive sponsor to keep the project aligned with corporate goals
• Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed
• Ensuring completion of deliverables and conducting stage end reviews

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Minimum of five (5) years medical device or in vitro diagnostics project management experience
• B.S. degree (scientific or engineering)
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and Quality System Regulations
• Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework (PMP preferred)
• Proven leadership skills

COMPENSATION AND CLASSIFICATION:

• Location: San Francisco Bay Area (headquarters is in Burlingame)
• Classification: Full-time
• Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience; includes equity package
