Company Overview: Terray Therapeutics is a venture-backed biotechnology company that is pioneering an automated, closed-loop, low latency, wet lab discovery platform and powerful AI capabilities to accelerate the discovery and development of small molecule therapeutics. Our internal development programs are focused on oncology and immunology. In addition to these programs we also work with leading pharmaceutical companies.

Our platform is based on fluorescent imaging of ultra-dense microarrays such that, via thousands to millions of images, we can measure billions of target/molecule interactions in a day, generating hundreds of millions of dose-response binding curves.

Position Summary: Terray Therapeutics is seeking an associate organic chemist to be a key part of our chemistry team. The associate scientist will be primarily responsible for resynthesis of hit compounds and will also support reaction development and library synthesis as needed.

Terray's chemistry is optimized for solid phase synthesis and when hit compounds are identified, they are resynthesized on solid support. The candidate will be the lead for executing resynthesis for hits of interest using a programmable solid phase synthesis system and subsequent purification and characterization. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire resynthesis process; including optimizing workflows and maintaining instrumentation. The candidate will also participate in other chemistry workflows as needed. The candidate will work closely with the rest of the chemistry team and head of chemistry.
