I. JOB SUMMARY

Assists in developing, maintaining and supporting the various components of commercial analytics function within the Enterprise Commercial Operations (ECO) team, including collecting and analyzing data related to business operations, creating reports with clear storylines and implications, forecasting, product/market modeling, and participation in special projects that help provide strategic insights to senior leadership.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assists the Director, Commercial Analytics in driving initiatives within ECO in the following areas:
o Developing/maintaining the data, methodology, technology and reporting infrastructure that comprises commercial analytics
o Facilitating annual budget and monthly forecasting processes
o Developing and continuously improving reporting and tracking methods, tools, and processes to support effective communication of analytics
o Serving as the system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment for one of the organization's evolving business lines
o Developing/maintaining strong, cross-functional relationships internally and relationships with external partners to fulfill key responsibilities of the commercial analytics function
• Other duties and responsibilities include the following:
o Identifies and succinctly communicates key insights from data and trends
o Collaborates with business partners to gather key information to bolster data insights
o Handles administrative functions associated with the CRM system for the supported business line, including user account maintenance, creation of reports and dashboards, workflows, data feeds and other integrations and routine tasks
o Conducts marketing analytics, including measurement of key tactics and programs
o Supports the development and execution of sales force incentive compensation target setting, measurement and reporting
o Provides analytical support for ad hoc projects, strategic initiatives, business development proposals, and other potential investments
o Supports market research projects to ensure outcomes align with forecasts and analytics

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Five or more years of experience in sales and marketing analytics or commercial operations in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required
• Strong Salesforce.com knowledge/experience, as an administrator or power user, including knowledge of leading practices and functionality of the platform
• Familiarity with third party industry data sources (e.g., IQVIA Xponent, DDD) and how to leverage them to support commercial execution
• Proficiency retrieving and manipulating data within various platforms
• Demonstrated ability to be a clear, efficient, and methodical communicator; comfortable presenting to management
• Ability to work with vendors and contractors in an ongoing effort to improve the quality of service received and to proactively partner for future business needs
• Demonstrated project management, leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated oral/written communication and organization skills
• Demonstrated initiative and integrity
• Ability to positively adapt to change and operate in a dynamic organization
