Assistant Process Engineer - Medical Devices

Micropoint Bioscience, Inc., a global provider of Point of Care (POC) medical diagnostic systems and solutions, is seeking a highly motivated individual in support of MBI’s product pipelines.

Job duties include:

·         Work with lead engineer and manufacturing manager to support the daily production of POC medical diagnostic products

·         Set up the daily process of auto dispensing for a variety of POC assays and monitor its performance during operating hours, troubleshoot when necessary

·         Perform weekly maintenance of the auto systems, replace parts and calibrate dispense pumps based on the feedback from operators, lead engineer and the reagent lab team

·         Maintain and organize the inventory of consumable and parts required for auto dispensing systems

·         Keep the spotting program updated for each assay

·         Document any error of the auto system during operation, draft weekly reports

·         Participate in new product verification, validation, and implementation for the full production

Job qualifications include:

·         BS in physical science, biology or chemistry or related fields with 0 - 2 years’ experience

·         Basic computer skills and hands-on experience in using common mechanical tools

·         Ability to learn new skills and work in a fast-paced environment

·         Experience in instruments is a big plus

·         Responsible and detailed-oriented

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Flexible in working hours

·         Eligibility to work in the US.
