The Consumer Marketing Manager II will work collaboratively with the Consumer Associate Marketing Director. This person is responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical marketing plans for a successful launch.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Driving and participating in business and marketing plans and processes.
• Leading development and manage execution of DTC tactics to drive business objectives through a variety of channels including CRM, TV, in-office, print, with a strong emphasis in digital communications
• Understanding and leveraging marketplace trends to apply to the marketing plan on an on-going basis.
• Leadership of cross functional teams, demonstrating AbbVie Ways of Working
• Utilization of various research methods to establish key points of product/brand differentiation in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
• Directing and managing marketing plans, initiatives, and tasks. Producing and delivering high-quality work that meets timelines. Ensuring that regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of campaign strategies through campaign measurement and metrics development to ensure positive return on investment and achievement of brand objectives.
• Assisting in the management of the scope, direction, and terms of partner agency relationships.
• Tracking and managing the Consumer Marketing budget

Qualifications
Basic:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field equivalent
• 4-6+ years of relevant work experience in marketing
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical or CPG marketing
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed organization, with and without direct authority
• Experience fostering positive working relationships with multiple external partners including advertising, digital, CRM, and internal cross-functional partners
• Core marketing capabilities to leverage in the creation and refinement of marketing plans
• DTC mass media (TV, print, web/digital) experience
• CRM experience including email and direct mail
• Understanding of social media platforms and their application
• Excellent project management capabilities, analytical and conceptual abilities
• Strong planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow through
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products
• Capacity to respond to quick turnaround requests for information and action
Preferred:
• Product launch experience
• Multiple experiences within commercial (brand, Market Access, Sales)
• Ability to influence senior management
