Analyst, HRConnect Automation & RPA

The Analyst, HRConnect RPA and Automation will support to AbbVie's Global HRConnect shared service center teams and affiliate partners in support of driving automation to scale our operations, increase overall efficiencies and effectiveness and drive business value. This role will also provide business leadership and support to members of HRConnect on project-based assignments in small and large teams to define business requirements and implement automated solutions.

You will be working to bring together the best of AbbVie's digital capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses.

As a part of the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) vendor team, you will help businesses improve the efficiency of processes and effectiveness of their services. You'll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, and digital transformation. You'll typically work on projects across all functions and will be fully integrated with the rest of our team. You'll also work with colleagues from across AbbVie to help our clients deliver breakthrough products, experiences, and businesses, both on technology and non-technology topics.

In this role, you will be a core member of the AbbVie consulting team with responsibilities that range from shaping and implementing strategic technology products to ensuring that AbbVie's craft stays on the leading edge of technology.

You will work to configure automation solutions and advise clients on determining the optimal business model. You will identify the right automation tools to help plan/implement their automation roadmap. You will have the ability to leverage other areas of Digital AbbVie including the agile prototyping and transformation experts and digital design specialists, to provide a differentiating and distinctive service.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support the design of necessary training, solution design guides, automation development, deployment and ongoing management of automated solutions implemented
• Analyze/translate business needs/requirements and transform those requirements into automated/RPA solutions by supporting any defined Business Technology Services requirements such as HR Systems integrations, required testing, documentation (SLC) requirements, etc.
• Run automation testing and functional deployments across the country supported delivery channels
• Execute, in conjunction with the BTS, user acceptance criteria, and testing. Support the development of a production schedule. Provide new user training and support during the initial deployment period as required.
• Agile partner with the ability to drive alignment between BTS, Finance and HR and HRConnect shared services operations to drive optimization of shared technologies and vendor partnerships
• Experience in establishing a center of excellence (CoE) in the automation space
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into enterprise-scale automation solution designs
• Ability to deliver pragmatic and innovative approaches that optimize processes across business strategies and technology capabilities

Qualifications

Requirements Include:

• A BA/BS degree required, preferably in Human Resources Management, Technology, or related field.
• Experience in HR systems and related data management and vendor management.
• Analytical, problem-solving and ability to conceptualize the organization, planning, and introduction of projects (envisioning through implementation).
• Stakeholder management experience at all levels (internal and external partners), with a bias towards delivering superior customer service.
• Experience in designing and implementing large scale process automation solutions using some of the leading RPA (robotics process automation) and/or other emerging automation technologies
• Hands-on experience in the full life cycle of automation solution implementation
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
• Experience in producing detailed technical design documents to match the solution design specifications and advising a team of functional consultants on aspects around the delivery of the architecture
• Desired two years of relevant work experience, including expertise in modeling recommendation systems and key human resources platforms
