IT Business Systems Analyst

We are looking to fill an IT Business Analyst position to join our expanding IT team. We drive the business forward by delivering new digital capabilities and technologies. Our IT Business Analysts support the organization by eliciting and documenting requirements, understanding complex business processes, and coordinating communication among the various groups. In this dynamic environment, IT Business Analysts have an opportunity to work on numerous aspects of the process and business.

As an IT Business Analyst, a typical day might include the following:

• Working closely with IT management and business partners to elicit requirements and document processes in support of delivering new business capabilities
• Partnering with a diverse business community to document as-is and to-be business processes
• Documenting clear and testable requirements which describe a technology to be implemented
• Collaborating in the creation, review and approval of validation documents
• Recommending business process and system changes to improve efficiency and business outcomes
• Participating as a key member of implementation projects, which may include requirements elicitation, technology evaluation, software configuration, testing, validation and end-user knowledge transfer
• Facilitating clear communication between business partners and IT technical teams
• Working with the business to integrate capability planning and roadmaps into their strategic planning and project implementations
• Collaborating with business leaders, providing input and capability information as inputs to develop business case for initiatives

To be considered for the IT Business Analyst position you must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in gathering requirements and business analysis along with an understanding of SDLC. Hands-on experience with enterprise systems such as enterprise architecture systems, document management systems, project management systems, laboratory information management systems, learning management systems, electronic batch records, or manufacturing execution systems is ideal.

Candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for a Senior IT Business Analyst role. We may also consider candidates with no experience for Associate IT Business Analyst. Level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
