The Director, Talent Development acts as both a leader and internal consultant in support of building, aligning, integrating, promoting, executing and measuring enterprise-wide talent management activities including performance management, career development and succession planning/talent reviews.

As Director, Talent Development, a typical day might include:

  • Defining a philosophy and strategy for enterprise-wise talent management programs and initiatives
  • Leveraging a solid understanding of and partnership with the business, ensuring that voice of customer is consistently and effectively incorporated and reflected in business solutions
  • Driving the change management and implementation of a new talent management/HRIS system globally across the enterprise
  • Collaborating expertly with fellow colleagues, HRBPs and other internal partners to design, deliver, implement and measure talent management & development initiatives and programs.
  • Leading all aspects of obtaining and allocation of resources and setting of short- and long term priorities for the function.
  • Leading and developing a team of high performing Talent professionals.

To be considered for this position you must have a Master's degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Organization Development or related field. Fifteen plus years of proven experience in one or more of the following HR subdisciplines: Performance Management, Talent Management, Change Management, Organizational / Leadership Development and HR Business Partnering. Prior experience working in biopharmaceutical industry preferred. Current knowledge of technology-related solutions in the talent development space, and implementing them in a diverse, fast-growing environment. Ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize demands in a high energy, fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
