We are seeking an R&D Associate to join the Clinical Bioanalysis group. Our team performs immunassays on clinical study samples to provide important drug and safety data to the organization. We are looking for an individual to run experiments under the direct supervision of a manager, perform routine technical tasks and begin to manage, coordinate, and interpret data more independently.

In this role, a typical day may include:
• Trains on manual and automated bioanalytical methods and executes methods to perform bioanalysis for clinical studies under supervision.
• Executes multiple plates and may execute multiple methods within the same day.
• May assist with the coordination of bioanalysis activities for individual clinical programs under direct supervision.
• Interprets data to assess plate acceptance criteria and adjust sample dilutions accordingly. Reports assay-related failures to his/her manager. May perform development experiments to troubleshoot assay-related issues and summarize data and present in a logical manner.
• Executes vital operations in LIMS (requesting samples, building analysis plates, tracking sample movement, tracking pending analysis and performing data entry). Utilizes the ELN for data documentation purposes.
• Prepares and qualifies reagents, and re-orders laboratory supplies and reagents, as needed.
• Works closely with Quality Control (QC) to address documentation findings and ensure quality data is provided.

• Are willing to assist with training of new R&D Associates and/or Laboratory Assistants.
• Are interested in providing cross-functional support to other bioanalysis teams, as needed.
• Demonstrate strong listening skills and can effectively share information.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity while maintaining a strong work ethic.
• Participate in his/her own professional and personal development.

To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field. Relevant laboratory experience is helpful, but not required.
