Research Associate / Senior Research Associate, In Vivo Biology

Job Summary:

As part of a project team, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing in vivo experiments to support pre-clinical advancement of drug discovery projects. Title Commensurate with experience.

Experience and education requirements:

• BS with 4+ years or MS with 2+ years of industry experience (small molecule drug discovery is strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience with mouse in vivo models.
• Proficiency in animal handling, various routes of dosing (PO, SC, IV), blood and tissue collection.
• Experience with oncology models (xenograft, PDX and syngeneic models) is preferred.
• Familiarity with autoimmune disease animal models is a plus.
• Experience with cell pharmacology, plate-based readouts, tissue culture and basic molecular biology techniques such as PCR is preferred.
• Outstanding problem-solving and organization skills.
• Be an effective team player and strong individual contributor, self-driven, flexible, pragmatic and able to handle multiple tasks and deliver high quality results under tight timelines.
