Job Details

The Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and supporting site-based procurement strategies in conjunction with CapEx (Construction) and Facilities functions. This role supports all facets of architectural / engineering services, construction services, long-lead capital equipment, and other facilities related goods and services. You can expect to work collaboratively with the Real Estate and Facilities Management (RE&FM) business unit to competitively engage and assess our network of global suppliers.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:
  • Development sourcing strategies, execution plans, and the bidding process for various Construction and Facilities projects to optimize value
  • Pre-qualifying bidders, developing and leading eRFX activities, bid leveling, conducting proposal evaluations, contract / cost negotiations and summarizing contract award recommendations.
  • Working with other SS&P team members to develop long term strategies.
  • Developing and sustaining vendor and customer relationships ensuring accountability exists within the category and performance is optimized
  • Leading supplier relationships and sourcing opportunities, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), etc.

This Role my be for you, if:
  • You have contract formation and contract expertise, specifically within construction cost knowledge (Cost Plus Fixed Price, Lump Sum, Unit Price)
  • You can align with partners and business leaders on their needs to provide outstanding Sourcing Management and support multiple projects
  • You can act as a project lead on various project teams to ensure Strategic Sourcing and Procurement goals are met.
  • You can develop and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) processes relevant to these categories.
  • You enjoy developing, leading and coaching
To be considered for this opportunity you must possess a bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of relevant, progressive experience, preferably to include 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing of construction and/or real estate facility projects. A CPSM / CPM is helpful. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the formation of architectural/ engineering contracts, construction contracts, and various facility management service contracts, including but not limited to property management and related services. Demonstrated capability to proactively run with assigned projects and maximize value, minimize risk, and ensure quality & cost efficiency.
