The ideal candidate will have an eclectic technical background, be comfortable in a results driven innovative environment and have an interest in the pharmaceutical industry. Developers in our team have the opportunity to leverage and creativity and expertise in order to find the most optimal solution to a myriad challenges in Drug Development. As the manager of a team of developers, this position will play a key role in shaping the platform strategy and delivery approach for the projects.

Essential Duties
  • Manage team of full stack developers.
  • Collaborate with development teams, business owners, end users and IT department team members in the design, development and support of custom applications used by employees.
  • Analyze user needs to determine, recommend and align on technical requirements
  • Work with stakeholders as required to manage change and bring assigned projects to completion
  • Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content, or choose solutions
  • Design, build, maintain web sites using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools
  • Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
  • Identify, locate, acquire and curate data.


Essential Skills / Background in order of importance:
  • Communication and Collaboration are paramount
  • 3+ years direct management experience
  • Experience with cloud design and architecture (AWS)
  • Experience with the following technologies: .NET, Visual Studio IDE, API, C#, AJAX, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, React, JSON, jQuery, LINQ, SQL Server, SSIS, HTML5 and CSS.
  • 5+ years designing, coding, testing, and supporting enterprise-class end-user web applications.
  • 5+ year experience with SQL Server, C#, and .NET Framework, Git.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.


Desired Skills / Background in order of importance:
  • Multi-Level management experience is a plus
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • SharePoint hybrid architecture (on-prem/online), SPFX, SharePoint 2013 API
    • MS Power Platform (Power Automate & Power BI)
    • Core Python, R, RShiny, RStudio
    • Veeva vault
    • Force.Com
    • Node JS development
