- Updates and maintains the accuracy of the Master Production Schedule Plans
- Establishes communication with the Finishing Planner on the needs, priorities and urgency in the packaging schedule
- Continuous oversight of SAP / POMS / INFOmaster data and recipe data, ensuring integrity, including assessing the demonstrated standards to ensure planning systems are aligned
- Coordinates the startup of new or transferred products to provide updated information and current status of critical products, plant activity, inventory investment results, and any major projects that may affect the production plan
- Manage the weekly MPS forum, providing oversight to lock a 3 week schedule,analyzing detailed capacity and load
- Facilitates monthly production supply review, capacity analysis, and elevate any needs to the monthly Supply Review
- Leads management of third party supplied bulks, including inventory control and obsolescence management
- Prepares the weekly delivery control information and oversees work order releases
- Acts as principal liaison in problem solving for issues potentially compromising the production plan
- Leads all scheduling activities for production, third party bulks, salvaging distressed inventory, R & D work, Engineering activities, New Product Introductions and third party requirements
Qualifications
- BS, MS or PHD in Science, Engineering or Business
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Knowledge of drug development process and pharmaceutical manufacturing process
- Strong knowledge of Planning and Quality systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP
