Duties & Responsibilities

Rejuvenate Bio is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our energetic team. The Operations Manager will report to the CEO/CSO of Rejuvenate. This individual will lead day to day management of our facility and laboratory space, as well as oversee distribution and inventory of our supplies.  This is a hands-on management role responsible for managing day to day activities of a small team.  The new team member will have superb organization, communication, and time management skills.  This is a cross-functional role and includes interactions and collaboration with Manufacturing, Product Development, Quality, and Commercial teams. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the performance and efficiency of lab operations and personnel
  • Lab Operations:
    • Responsible for role as Safety Officer and ensure compliance and training for staff is current working with EH&S consultants
    • Oversee routine equipment calibration and maintenance
    • Oversee service and/or repair equipment and determine proper remedial action as needed
    • Space & resource planning
    • Oversee inventory management system and maintain appropriate stock of key supplies and reagents
    • Maintain a safe, efficient, and functional lab environment
    • Actively pursue and embrace changes and improvements
  • Oversees all facility related activities and liaison with vendors and landlord to resolve facility issues and maintenance
  • Monitors building services such as parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc. and allocate office space according to needs
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams of stakeholders and business partners to create efficiencies in the overall operation; continuously strive for a better way of conducting day to day operations. 

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years’ experience as Operations Manager, or similar, in the life sciences industry

  • Strong understanding of personnel supervision and development
  • Strong leadership skills, with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Strong project/people skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization
  • Experience in developing detailed process work instructions
  • Ability to be on site when needed for shipment reception or equipment malfunction
