Dren Bio Position: Scientist or Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist or Research Associate to join our growing team of investigators at Dren Bio to target myeloid cells (innate immunology) and develop novel treatments for hematological and solid cancers. Strongest consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in myeloid biology, immuno-oncology, cellular immunology and/or cell biology.

The candidate will be expected to design, execute, and report in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo studies. The candidate will also be expected to participate in a diverse multidisciplinary team and be flexible and agile in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant will have a Bachelors, Masters or a PhD in immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field, and preferably 2+ years of experience in an academic or industry laboratory setting. Candidates with immunological and cell biology expertise, including a combination of the following – primary cell isolation, multi-color flow cytometry, cell culture, ADCC and/or ADCP assays, biochemical assays (ELISA, western blots), microscopy (confocal and IHC) and molecular biology assays (cloning, DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, qPCR) – are preferred. Excellent oral/written communication skills and creative problem-solving will be expected.
