Under the supervision of a Disclosure & Transparency Assoc. Dir., the intern will work with various team members at Gilead to support clinical trial registrations and result postings globally, clinical data publication submissions and other transparency activities, data sharing requests, and plain language summary activities, as needed.

Essential Functions:

Interns will assist and support the D&T team with projects and department goals and objectives, including but not limited to registration of clinical trials on CTgov & the EU PAS Register, posting of clinical trial results on CTgov, EudraCT, and the EU PAS Register, redaction of clinical trial documents for EMA Policy 0070/Health Canada Public Release of Clinical Information, and general redaction of other documents. In addition, the intern will assist with activities in preparation for data sharing requests or plain language summaries and attend/participate in routine departmental meetings.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate student enrolled in an accredited university/college
  • A BS or BA degree
  • Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and good verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work independently on routine assignments with daily check-ins and ability to work cooperatively with department staff while providing key assistance on complex assignments
  • Computer experience including advanced computer software skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrates flexibility in communication style to work effectively with a variety of team preferences.
  • Ability to complete 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and September
