Position Description

Motivated, solution-oriented, and adaptable individual who is responsible for supporting all field sales reporting and analytics. Strong analytic skills, and ability to communicate effectively, written and oral, is a necessary skill set. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sales and marketing analytics, incentive compensation reporting, managing and administrative duties for reporting tools. Respond timely and accurately to field sales inquiries and work closely with sales and marketing teams and all internal departments to provide operational solutions/analyses to maximize sales force efficiencies.

Main Areas of Responsibilities
  • Act as a project manager for the development and enhancement of field tools
  • Assist in the administration of field reporting tools, elicit field feedback for enhancements, validate data, and design training plans for field representatives
  • Develops and validates advanced excel spreadsheets, prepares statistical and summary analysis for sales and marketing leaders.
  • Coordinate with Sales/Marketing teams to translate business requirements into actionable, systems-oriented solutions. Work directly with technical resources to configure and administer systems to better meet the needs of the commercial organization.
  • Partner with the Incentive Compensation team to develop and maintain attainment and contest reporting for various sales teams.
  • Handle all aspects of customer service. Must be able to work positively and communicate effectively with senior level marketing, sales leaders and sales representatives.

Requirements

The following requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 2-4 years of previous work experience in sales operations or analytics
  • Proficient in Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot table, charts)
  • Proficient in other Microsoft Office Products, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Proficiency in SAS preferred
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence and SFA applications (SAP, Salesforce.com)
  • Project management and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical experience, reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks by effective prioritization and timely response
  • Quick to execute ad-hoc projects and adapt to change
  • Self-starter, willingness to learn and teach others
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral, and the ability to positively contribute individually and in team settings
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Some travel necessary
