Assist in the preparation of financial statements by performing monthly accounting and closing procedures for various legal entities
Knowledge of US GAAP revenue recognition policies and assist in general accounting close procedures
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for monthly close within workday close deadlines
Analyze income statement and balance sheet accounts, including month-end and year-end GL duties
Administer corporate card and business travel and expense management system
Assist with annual audits, quarterly reviews, internal control testing and internal audit projects
Ensure compliance with US GAAP requirements, company policy and standard operating procedure; recommends changes to strengthen control environment
Other duties and special projects assigned that fall within the general expected scope of the position
Participate in system implementations supporting the accounting close for sites

BA in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years of experience as a staff accountant in a corporate setting
Financial systems experience; SAP preferred
Fantastic communication and analytical skills
Must have strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
