The HCP Marketing Manager will lead all Rheumatology Advisory Board meetings to ensure insights are gathered on prioritized topics that support the strategies and tactics for both Upadacitinib and HUMIRA. This position will also be the Brand lead for all competitive intelligence (CI) across the rheumatology indications, working cross functionally to ensure all CI is current and necessary action items related to CI are executed. This position will also be the lead for key National Rheumatology patient advocacy groups.

Key Responsibilities Includes:
  1. Marketing Lead for all Rheumatology Advisory Board Meetings
    o Responsible for creating the annual advisory board plan for HUMIRA and Upadacitinib aligning all objectives to the needs of the Brand team and the consulting annual plan
    o Agency lead for content creation and logistical execution for 5-10 advisory board meetings throughout the year for both updadacitinib and HUMIRA
    o Cross functional collaboration with Brand teams to ensure alignment on all objectives, content, and insights gathered from advisory board meetings
    o Cross functional collaboration with Regional Marketing Managers and Brand teams to ensure the best advisors are recruited for each advisory board meeting to achieve objectives
    o Cross functional collaboration with Medical and HEOR to ensure any medical content presented is accurate and current
  2. Competitive Intelligence (CI) lead for Rheumatology
    o Collaboration with the internal CI team to ensure all competitive milestones that impact Rheum are communicated across the teams
    o Responsible for CI at all major conferences
    o Responsible for keeping the CORE CI website up to date with materials and leveraging CORE materials in all CI communications
    o Responsible for internal and field communications on all relevant CI updates that could impact the Brand strategies and tactics
    o Cross functional collaboration with Sales Training, Medical Affairs, and Brand Marketing on all CI updates and sales force training materials on CI
  3. Marketing Lead for the Arthritis Foundation
    o Responsible for executing all membership and sponsorship materials
    o Field and internal lead for all Jingle Bell Run activities
    o Field and internal lead for all JA camps
    o Liaison between the AF and AbbVie leadership
    o Responsible for maintaining relationship and maximizing benefits to AbbVie
  4. Marketing Lead for Global Healthy Living Foundation
    o Responsible for corporate membership execution
    o Rheum Liaison with organization, responsible for organizing meetings and pulling through initiatives

Qualifications

ACCOUNTABILITY / SCOPE:
  • Reporting to the HCP Marketing Director
  • Execution of Goal Plan, AbbVie Ways of Working with associated Leadership Attributes
  • Travel up to 20% of the time. Position based at Abbvie HQ/Mettawa, IL.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years of sales, sales management, or marketing experience with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical
  • Experience with HCP related activities required. Knowledge of marketing concepts within strategic planning process preferred.
  • Efficient project management and communication capabilities along with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong collaboration and team orientation, with experience accomplishing results through others and influencing others.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree. MBA preferred.
  • Previous Immunology Sales/Marketing experience preferred.
