The Data Management Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the data competency training program within the Commercial Data and Analytics function. This includes the development, implementation, execution and sustainment of data transparency, knowledge management, skill development and onboarding processes. The program's remit supports both the Global and US data and analytic teams. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional/cross-regional teams in managing the program.

This role's primary focus is to ensure transparency to our data assets, develop the skills necessary to optimize the use of the information, and manage the process with global colleagues. In addition, this individual will support the Data Strategy group within Commercial Data and Analytics. This group is responsible for in defining and executing the Commercial data strategy, which includes managing the readiness of data assets, ensuring data quality, and performing lifecycle maintenance.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide Global and US support to the Commercial Data and Analytics organization
  • Partner closely with Global and US teams to ensure all CD&A staff are actively enrolled in the training program and aware of the benefits
  • Manage the Commercial Data and Analytics competency framework and onboarding plan
  • Develop, facilitate and deliver necessary training for Global and US data users
  • Thoroughly understand changes to the business and employ training plans to develop the necessary skills
  • Manage the capability building program and perform assessments
  • Own data knowledge management across the enterprise
  • Administer data asset education, transparency and navigation
  • Develop Change Management tactics and communications
  • Implement standards, procedures and processes to support the training program
  • Continuously monitor performance and improve processes


Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Sales & Marketing Operations and/or Training and/or Data Management experience

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of Sales & Marketing Operations and/or Training and/or Data Management experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Sales & Marketing Operations and/or Training and/or Data Management experience

OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of Sales & Marketing Operations and/or Training and/or Data Management experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Sales & Marketing Operations and/or Training and/or Data Management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated exceptional strategic / critical thinking abilities and business acumen
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences
  • Good understanding of biopharmaceutical Commercial data
  • Experience in developing, owning and improving processes
  • Knowledge Management program experience
  • Track record of developing and delivering training to a large group of individuals
  • Developed problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, develop tactical plans and execute
  • Proven experience as a member and leader of a high performing team
  • Project management, agile teams and corrective action experience
  • History of championing initiatives and leading through change
  • Experience executing change management tactics
  • Eager to learn new skills and contribute to team's success
