The Executive Director, Professional Marketing will lead the development and execution of professional marketing strategies, annual marketing plans, key messages, sales force materials, field programs, and agency management. The Executive Director will also lead the design and analysis of market research, testing, and application of the results.

The role requires the ability to accurately manage and track a detailed promotional budget, set program metrics, and analyze results and ROI performance. The Executive Director must be customer focused and able to build effective working relationships with KOLS, physicians, sales, and other staff groups to assist in guiding marketing and sales strategy. The Executive Director will lead the HCP website optimization, program reports and analytics, sample forecasting and management, and advertising/promotional activities.

The role requires a collaborative orientation, with the ability to work across internal groups to ensure medical/regulatory/legal and compliance requirements are met and maintained, and to also work closely with the consumer markeitng, portfolio team, data labs and other Allergan Aesthetic brand teams to align communications and strategies across all the brand's target audiences. The position requires a strong work ethic, a proactive, results oriented approach, and experience with professional marketing strategy and sales force execution.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer focus: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with KOL physicians, provide sales team leadership and training, work with field sales representatives on a regular basis, support field training as needed, attend major conventions and meetings.

Strategy Development : Conduct market analysis and research, monitor competitive activity and stay abreast of market conditions. Develop product positioning, core messages, growth strategy and annual marketing plan. Analyze competitive promotional activity and implement appropriate actions.

Develop and manage promotional programs and tools : Develop promotional tactics and sales tools that support brand strategies. Provide ongoing program management, supervise vendors and agencies, and support field execution. Monitor program performance through marketing research, sales analysis and feedback from customers and the sales force. Work closely with field sales management to maximize promotional program return. Lead the BDM advisory board to generate input and feedback on the promotional plan.

Lead internal and external partnerships : work closely with Regulatory, Legal, Compliance in development of all promotional pieces and programs. Effectively and collaboratively manage agency partners. Participate as appropriate in meetings with Global, Med Affairs, and Competitive offense teams

Financial Objectives : Contribute towards achieving brand financial and market share goals, manage promotional budget, deliver quarterly profit targets

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in related field, MBA Preferred

5+ years product management experience necessary, preferably professional product management

Marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry

Field sales experience is desirable

Aesthetic experience is required
