Supervisor Biotech Production Dispensing (2nd Shift)

*This position is 2nd shift, Thursday-Sunday, from 1:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m.

Summary: Supervises the manufacturing raw material dispensing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supervises all aspects of raw material dispensing operations
Supervises Leads and Biotech Production Dispensing Technicians
Ensures that all dispensing is in compliance with cGMP guidelines and applicable regulations.
Reviews and edits area procedures, including SOP's, master batch documentation, change controls, and validation protocols/reports in accordance with cGMP standards.
Documents and investigates quality events within process compliance.
Ensures safety standards are maintained.
Schedules individual and ongoing training.
Ensures equipment readiness and coordinates regular equipment maintenance and calibrations; troubleshoots equipment.
Performs personnel management functions including time sheet submissions, scheduling of vacations, personnel development, disciplinary actions, hiring, terminations, and performance evaluations.

Education and Experience:
Requires BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field with 2+ years of relevant cGMP manufacturing experience and previous supervisory/leadership experience. Relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of educational requirement.
