Postdoctoral Scholar - Mahley
A postdoctoral scholar position in the Mahley Laboratory that involves defining the role of apolipoprotein (apo) E in neuropathology using human iPSC-derived neurons and the application of proteomics. Protein changes (pathways) distinguishing apoE3 from apoE4-expressing neurons will be evaluated using CRISPR technology to knockdown or increase protein expression in iPSC-derived neurons.
The senior postdoctoral fellow position requires a MD or PhD with 2 or more years of relevant research experience in neuroscience. iPSC technology and CRJSPR experience are highly desirable.
