As the Senior Manager, Site Budgets you will be tasked with managing and coaching a team of Site Budgets Leads. The SBLs focus on developing accurate and timely total investigator grants and per subject cost estimates based on the study design and schedule of events (using a fair market value tool). The team is also tasked with reviewing CROs' and/or sites' proposed changes to the study-specific budget parameters (in partnership with other business lines internally). Your team also ensures the delivery of high quality, compliant, effective, and timely results.

In this role, a typical day might include:
• Acting as the single point of accountability for ensuring that team is meeting performance and efficiency standards
• Leading and mentoring your staff to establish a high performance and high growth team
• Acting as a process owner for Regeneron's site budget development processes (review and update, as needed)
• Ensuring staff is engaged closely with internal client groups, internal partners, and CROs and effectively communicating with them, in order to ensure that business objectives are met (e.g., scheduled site initiation visit deadlines)
• Handling site budget development related escalations optimally
• Developing and enhancing relationships with internal clients and partners, CROs, and sites
• Thinking strategically about Regeneron's ideal approaches to conducting budget development for trial sites and driving solutions, while ensuring compliance
• Maintaining metrics and ensuring that internal systems are updated in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
• Prioritizing assignments across the portfolio workload among team members and also ensuring that CROs are prioritizing appropriately
• Identifying best practices, spearheading process improvement initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement
• Handling changes to study scope while ensuring timely budget amendment and implementation
• Establishing team goals that will increase knowledge and skill level
• Directly developing budgets for key studies
• Utilizing the per subject cost output along with the protocol design, historical information, and operational approach to determine the overall investigator grant cost
• Developing and presenting budget scenarios to study teams for OPRB and related meetings
• Engaging with relevant partners from early planning throughout the end-to-end budgeting lifecycle
• Work closely with collaborators and customres and effectually connect with them meet objectives

You have the ability to mitigate and drive solutions regarding investigator site budgeting challenges
You understand the nuances between early and final budget estimates
You have shown success in identifying and implementing best practices and contribute to continuous improvement for site contracting
You have strong people management and mentoring experience
You are an influential leader comfortable managing cross-functional teams including internal and external customers

To be considered, you must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of direct experience with clinical site budgeting at a pharmaceutical company, CRO, or site. An advanced degree is preferred. At least 3 years of team leadership, people management, and training experience is also a must for success in the role.
