Supports the development and growth of the company's sales and marketing plan by taking responsibility for the internet and internal sales business.

General Responsibilities
  • Ability to effectively utilize all marketing and sales materials designed for corresponding customer base.
  • Supports sales efforts by processes customer orders through the accurate sales order entries into ERP system.
  • Tracking and analysis of customer base to identify ordering trends and sales opportunities
  • Responsible for the general administration of sales information for clients and internal partners.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with targeted customers; achieves contract performance goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of promoted products.
  • Communicates effectively with peers and management.
  • Provides exemplary electronic and telephonic etiquette; follows approved call talking points/guides; provides excellent customer support.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and handles/resolves non-product customer feedback.
  • Manages day-to-day work in a systematic, and organized manner.
  • BS in biologic sciences, business, marketing or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP for quote generation and order placement.
  • 3+ years of B2B life science related sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; exhibits focused listening and phone-based communication skills; displays strong selling skills including customer engagement & relationship building success.
  • Intermediate to expert level administrative knowledge of MS Office applications; proven ability to leverage digital technology and resources to engage in effective interactions with clients and team members.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply technical product knowledge to promote products in a highly effective manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in multi-tasking.
  • Consistently demonstrates initiative, self-motivated with strong performance orientation. Effectively work independently and as a collaborative, results-oriented team member.
