Under the guidance of the West Coast Regional Security Manager (RSM), the Security Supervisor willassist supporting the following functions across three sites: implementing business continuity and emergency management programs, scheduling security table-top exercises with key function leads, cultivating relationships with relevant external partners, while reviewing security concerns and trends that are advantageous in developing a proactive security team.
- Be a self-motivator, self-starter, and must have command presence
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Able to prioritize projects and meet multiple deadlines
- Confidence in presenting content to internal partners and external partners
- Exceptional administrative support experience in advance Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, and Word)
- Proven track record of maintaining successful relationships with multi-vendor account managers
- Effectively communicate and provide clear and concise instruction/direction to vendors, internal partners, and the contract Security Team
- Use judicious judgement, while mitigating critical site security concerns
- Must provide comprehensive site feedback to the Regional Security Manager and the Operations Supervisor regarding the following:
- Safety concerns
- Breach of security protocols
- Issues or concerns regarding external vendors on site
Business Continuity (BC) Responsibilities:
- Will be the BC Coordinator to our Crisis Action-Team
- Assist with updating all BC documents for all sites
- Work closely with Abbvie Global Security Initiatives regarding Business Continuity Plans
Qualifications
- Minimum BS/BA Degree Required
- 5-7 Years (Ideally in law enforcement or military)
- Highly preferred Supervisory Experience
