The Director, Immunology Care Model Strategy plays a key role in the development of our patient support strategies across the Immunology portfolio for current and future pipeline products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys identifying potential opportunities to create exceptional patient treatment plan experiences. This person will be responsible for directing program enhancements, partnering with Sales and Marketing, Legal/Compliance, and additional stakeholders. This position is office-based and has direct reports.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Participate in integrated brand teams providing patient support program expertise in the overall brand plan
  • Define the care model strategy for new and existing products
  • Ensure evolution of the care model strategies based upon product life cycle
  • Oversee competitive intelligence research and communication within organization to maintain market knowledge
  • Oversee market research initiatives, consulting and advisory boards compliantly
  • Support the pull through of the care model strategic plan within the patient support organization
  • Identify customer, access and program industry trends to enhance current patient support programs
  • Direct the insight discovery activities and the care model design exercises for immunology patient support programs
  • Pressure test the patient support business tactical plans to ensure strategy is fulfilled
  • Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with commercial business partners in sales, managed healthcare, trade and marketing teams
  • Work in conjunction with finance, legal, regulatory and compliance, etc
  • Ensure a high level of cross-functional coordination and strategic/tactical planning through ongoing communications as well as contributing to a positive team culture
  • Budget management for patient support strategy
  • Ability to manage 25% travel

Qualifications

Prerequisite:
  • Requires minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree a plus.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in market access, patient support, sales, marketing, or related commercial function in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Experience leading within a matrix organization a plus
  • Expertise in immunology pharmaceutical products is preferred.
  • Experience in Medical/Legal/Regulatory Review processes at a pharmaceutical manufacturer
  • Candidates should have working knowledge of the compliance and regulatory environment for manufacturers in the pharmaceutical space
  • This is an office-based position. This position requires up to 25% travel.

Skills/Knowledge Required:
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up and anticipate problems.
  • Ability to lead across multiple functions (sales, managed healthcare, trade, marketing).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline driven, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to influence across functions to gain consensus on solutions.
