The BTS Information Security and Risk Management Senior Communications Analyst position will be responsible for communications, training and awareness initiatives across the Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) function - to effectively reduce risk within the AbbVie - and embed security into the DNA of the organization.

Areas of focus will include internal ISRM communications, cross functional stakeholder communications, security training, cyber awareness, and portfolio-based communications. Role will include the development of online and classroom training content, targeted communication campaigns that address risk-based mitigation, and ongoing operational communications to drive alignment within ISRM. In this role you will also help to develop and drive creative internal marketing strategies to support ISRM programs. This position will liaison effectively with stakeholder groups within AbbVie's BTS Communications and technical groups, Corporate Communications, Legal and Privacy, end users and more.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Lead ISRM communications, training, and awareness projects to engage and educate employees
  • Interface with leadership to help develop materials and drive implementation of projects to increase the ongoing security awareness • Partner with Communications senior management, in-region, and global resources to facilitate security awareness readiness and support educational campaigns
  • Collaborate with extended ISRM and BTS Communications teams to develop, coordinate and implement appropriate communications and marketing plans and activities
  • Create and implement detailed project plans for training plans and materials
  • Support the design and development of creative newsletters, blogs, and ongoing enterprise communications
  • Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies to enhance security policies, standards, and guidelines via all available channels including internal social media, email, online and print campaigns
  • Support the maintenance of developed artifacts, materials, and content within the ISRM Communications repository/library of content

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with m inimum of seven years or Masters with 6 years of communications and marketing experience within information security or IT-based functions
  • Experience in creating, developing, and facilitating targeted technical awareness campaigns/programs
  • Understanding of internal branding, marketing, and general marketing communications
  • Ability to work in a rapid-pace environment, with shifting priorities
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with technical and non-technical resources
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner for day to day activities, under deadlines and date driven activities
  • Plus
  • Experience with project planning and supporting PMLC based initiatives
  • Experience working with third-party providers to meet project objectives
  • Familiarity with IT risk management, compliance, and infrastructure concepts
  • Project management (PMP) certification or project coordination experience is a plus
  • Organizational change management experience
