Avidity Biosciences is pioneering a new class of oligonucleotide-based therapies called AOCs designed to overcome the current limitations of oligonucleotide therapies in order to treat a wide range of serious diseases. We utilize our proprietary AOC platform to design, engineer and develop therapeutics that combine the tissue selectivity of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and the precision of oligonucleotide-based therapies in order to access previously undruggable tissue and cell types and more effectively target underlying genetic drivers of diseases.

Currently we are seeking a Scientist to join our Pompe team. This position will require hands-on lab work as well as data analysis and presentation. Prior experience and a high degree of proficiency with cell culture and molecular biology techniques are required. In addition to being responsible for running the current set of biological assays, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop new techniques. The candidate should also be flexible and adaptable to the evolving nature of a rapidly expanding company. Prior experience in lysosomal and/or glycogen storage diseases favorably considered.
