We are seeking a Financial Systems Associate Director for our Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) team within the Controllership organization.

This role will provide day to day operational supports to the users of consolidation

and financial reporting systems and act as lead for enterprise-wide financial system projects on behalf of CFR. This role will also work on SAP ERP implementation and other financial system initiatives such as the master data governance project Insight 2.0 as a representative of CFR. This role will lead the evaluation, selection and implementation of a new consolidation tool or the execution of enhancements to the existing consolidation tool (FCCS). S/he will also lead the development of automated internal management reports, financial analytics and metrics in the system.

The role partners closely with finance and accounting teams and related constituents throughout the company and with our IT and infrastructure business partners to deliver seamless service to CFR and our cross-functional accounting and finance teams.

We are seeking a strategic and results driven leader who understands accounting and finance processes and has extensive financial systems experience (with high volumes of data in a complex multi-currency global environment).

The Financial Systems Associate Director will report to the Sr Director of Corporate Financial Reporting.

  • Provide day to day operational supports to CFR and other users of the financial consolidation and reporting systems including supports for the global month-end close and consolidations that involve data from a large number of general ledgers and multi-jurisdictional legal entities, and various foreign currency exchange rates as well as supports for internal and external financial reporting.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders and executes our overall financial system roadmap, partnering closely with cross-functional finance and IT teams as well as other constituents throughout the business.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify, recommend, and implement financial system related process improvements and enhance efficiency and quality of financial reporting and analytics
  • Deliver high quality results in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Lead data and system integrations and/or disintegration for acquisitions and divestures, system modifications and data flow changes related to the implementation of new accounting standards, the implementation of cash flow in the consolidation tool as well as other reporting projects (intercompany, currency translation and remeasurement, etc.).

  • 12+ years of relevant experience including 3 years of management experience
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of highly complex legal entity accounting and reporting, consolidation accounting, acquisitions, divestitures, currency translation and remeasurement accounting
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion Planning, etc.) including data conversions and data mapping across multiple ERPs and Consolidation/Reporting systems
  • Big-4 audit firms, financial systems or advisory experience preferred
  • CPA or equivalent work experience required
